Michael Pollack and Billy Joel

Every now and then someone comes along and seizes the moment. In January 2013,  at Vanderbilt  University, Billy Joel was doing a Q&A and Michael Pollack asked Joel if he could play Joel's great hit New York State of Mind with the legendary singer songwriter.

Joel's response?

"Okay"

The result?

An amazing performance by Michael Pollack where Joel donned sunglasses and belted out the tune, even emulating Frank Sinatra.

Great job by Michael as he improvises with Billy at the end of the song. Well worth watching!
